Hello world! Hello Heckers! ๐๐ฝ
ลukasz Fiuk
How it all began ๐ฅ
I actually never thought I'd be writing this blog post, but well, here I am ๐.
This whole idea to build Heckerspace started during my trip to Greece ๐๏ธ, right after a successful website launch at work ๐. Aside from typical holiday stuff I brought along a notebook ๐, pen, and a copy of "You Don't Know JS" ๐๐
Why? I simply enjoy the learning process and I knew that soon after my holidays I'd be leading of a whole dev team for Amazon project, so I was hyper-motivated to level up my game ๐ . The goal was to learn the fundamentals inside out, so I can explain them with ease to anyone, anywhere, anytime ๐จโ๐ซ๐.
โIf you canโt explain it simply, you donโt understand it well enough.โ
~ Albert Einstein ๐ง
Shaping the idea ๐ก
Fine, I'm on a holidays ๐น, and I'm ready to rest learn๐ฎ.
Where to start? maybe with my copy of YDKJS? Nope. Let's start from the basics: HTML, Semantics, and Accessibility โฟ ~ Started from the bottom - Drake ๐ถ
I thought that I already knew "everything" ๐คฃ that I needed but oh boi, I have learned a ton! ๐ค I thought to myself that those "boring" but crucial fundamental topics are quite often overlooked even by experienced developers. Why not write an article about it? ๐ก I could combine my learning process with sharing my insights with the community. Perfect! ๐
What kind of content you'll find here? ๐
I'm constantly learning something new and while I'm at it, I'll share some juicy bits with you too ๐ง. Expect tips, tricks, small projects. I'll also write comparative analysis of different frameworks, libraries, and solutions in general. Basically, I'm gonna share all the stuff I wish I knew when I was first starting out.
Wish me luck, and let's code heck! ๐ช
